2006 UIL State Meet Photo 2McKinney North's Samantha Means (right) and Hereford's Betzy Jimenez waged a titanic battle lap after lap in the 4A 3200 before Jimenez takes over in the closing steps to win. Both runners broke the 4A state meet record. Highland Park's Carola Conces finished 3rd with Katie Shaw of Cleburne finishing 4th. Betzy came back to win the 1600 and take down the 22-year-old meet record in that event as well.
