Falfurrias' Amy Buenrostro immediately went to the front with Laredo Nixon's Daniela Prado right behind. The two ran together far ahead of the field before Buenrostro pulled away near the end.
Zapata's Raul Serna (left) led from the start and finished with a 20-second win over San Diego's Sammy Rodriguez (right).
