Twins Janessa and Emily Dunn, 10th and 17th at Nike South, respectively, overtook early leader Haleigh Blackwell of Georgetown in the second mile of the 3243m course with Emily nipping Janessa by a tenth of a second, 11:53.9 to 11:54.0 for first.  Alexandra Alvizo of New Braunfels Canyon claimed third in 11:59.8 with Blackwell finishing fourth in 12:01.3.

In a tight boys race FEAST Home School upset South Bubble Team Georgetown 109 to 116.  With top performances from their third and fourth runners FEAST defended their title for the third year in a row - as did the FEAST girls.  San Antonio Clark was a solid third (125) in the 34 team field.

Lytle’s Brandon Lacy and Smithson Valley’s Alan Sanchez pulled away at the end of the 4919m course with Lacy winning a close one over Sanchez 15:29.4 to 15:30.9.  Ryan Saam of San Antonio Reagan was third in 15:36.1.
