2013 Greenhill 6-mile Relay

The 29th annual Greenhill / Luke’s Locker 6 Mile
Relay signaled the start of the 2013 cross country season for many schools at
Norbuck Park.
Perennial state and national power Southlake Carroll took
command late in the boys 5A/4A race for a 26 second win over Highland Park.
Meanwhile those two teams, plus Flower Mound were battling it out in the girls
5A/4A race with Flower Mound running to the win in their return trip to the
Relay.
The small school varsity race featured the defending 3A state
champ Sanger girls, who cruised to a dominant victory over runner-up Isidore
Newman School of New Orleans, LA. St. Mark’s waited until the last half mile
to grab the lead over Sanger and St. Stephen’s (Austin) in the boys race.
